2011 Workshop: Day 11 (Part 1)

For this eleventh class in the workshop series, we looked at Lines. In the next post (Part 2), you’ll see the more classic use of lines in photographs, used to lead the eye around the frame.

Besides those images (and there are a lot of good ones!), our students made a number of images using lines as graphic elements. They are interesting in their own right. We talked in class about the use of contrast, and it’s interesting to see how the kids paired that up with the use of lines.
